Wander Coffee began in the summer of 2025 with a simple idea: that coffee could be so much more than just a drink—it could be an experience. Founded by Riley Goldsborough on the eastern coast of Lake Michigan, Wander Coffee was born from a love of coffee as both a form of expression and as a craft.
We exist to offer coffee in its best form—elevated in taste, grounded in design, and served with care. And though we strive to have the best coffee in the game, it's not just about the coffee. It's about the memories, the beauty, the laughter, and all the things we carry with us long after our cups are empty.
So whether at a wedding, a weekend market, or a quiet gathering, we show up with one goal: to showcase beauty and inspire connection through the thoughtful design and intentional craft of coffee.
ABOUT THE OWNER
Riley Goldsborough, founder of Wander Coffee, grew up in northern Michigan before spending nearly a decade in central California, where his love for coffee truly took root. Inspired by the rich coffee culture and diverse café spaces he encountered there, Riley began learning the craft from home, eventually working as a barista and deepening his appreciation for coffee as both an art form and a daily ritual. With a passion for design and a vision for what coffee could be, he returned to Michigan to bring that vision to life.
Wander Coffee is proudly partnered with Cheboygan Coffee Roasters. Since 2020, Cheboygan Coffee Roasters has been serving Northern Michigan with high quality beans, roasted with care in the heart of Cheboygan.
